well, thats a general singaporean perspective. should emphaize how Mr Lee is greatly indebted to Suharto for preventing a war between Singapore and Malaysia many years back.

human strength and weaknesses argument clearly dominate indonesian (in this case singaporean) rationale of whole situation. I don't like it. It basically killed this whole article for me ... only to find in the end that we are back to square one: "As ordinary mortals, they have their strengths and their weaknesses"..
